Our client, a leading security solutions provider headquartered in Port Moresby, with five additional branches across Papua New Guinea, is seeking a Papua New Guinean citizen to join their team as an ICT Manager. The ideal candidate must have at least five years of managerial or supervisory leadership experience in the communication and technology industry. Proficient in managing IT infrastructure, services, and computer networks within a corporate setting.
- Lead the ICT & ESS Department so that the Contractual and service delivery requirements are met/exceeded for all Clients
- Investigating security incidents and providing training and guidance to employees on best security practices.
- Safeguarding company's data and ensuring its continuous operations.
- Conduct internal audits and provide a report to the General Manager detailing the general effectiveness of the management and quality system of the ICT & ESS Department.
- Ensure Company related, and in particular personnel issues, are treated CONFIDENTIAL between the Company and its employee’s
- Confirm training is delivered by assigned training staff to standards detailed in the Contract and the Post Instructions or Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure all personnel conform to the requirements of the standards set in the Company’s Quality Management System.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a Supervisory/Management level with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a communication and technology position.
- Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, services, and computer networks is vital.
- CISCO Certified
- Strong technical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Possession of a valid Driving License
