Job summary
To coordinate all aspects of payroll operations and supervise staff to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages and salaries on a fortnightly basis.
Job description
Reward & Compensation
- Manage staff listings, TRP, benchmarking, and tax calculations.
- Apply approved increments and superannuation contributions in the payroll system (Pronto).
Employee Development & Performance Management
- Coordinate staff training, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and succession planning.
- Promote continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring.
Workforce Management
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Oversee final payments, bonuses, and payroll reports.
- Manage non-citizen payroll and related financial reporting.
Support Services
- Resolve payroll queries and coordinate with divisions.
- Handle year-end processes, tax clearance, audits, and various internal/external reports.
